What are Slots?
Slots are where a botter will run your card details and addresses on your behalf, allowing for them to hit you pairs of shoes. This is extremely useful because it saves the need for:
Purchasing a bot
Buying Proxies
Setting up
Waking up to run
There are a few different forms of slots, there is PAS and Non-PAS:
PAS - Pay after success, this is literally a no brainer providing the PAS fee is acceptable. You would only then be liable to pay the slot runner once the order has been placed.
Non-PAS - You would be liable to pay a fee for them running despite if successful or not. The fee is usually much lower, however you do run the risk.
Whats the chances of hitting and is there any associated risks?
The chances of the slot provider being successful will depend upon numerous factors: stock numbers, slot runners ability, how many tasks are being run and how the bot performs on the day.
For slots to be ran, you would nee to provide your card details, address, emails and phone numbers to the slot runners. This could be a risky matter due to giving out your card details to someone. Within Astro Alerts we wouldn't accept a slot runner without doing our own due-diligence. Furthermore if they used your card details without your permission this is illegal and most card providers would aid with a fraud claim.
