Alias / Goat

Alias is an app based platform predominantly for selling shoes, they are adding apparel but only certain sellers are permitted to sell clothing on Alias. Alias' tier system doesn’t reduce the fees as you progress but allows you to sell without uploading photos, include additional photos then ultimately bulk ship. Like stockx unless you are a trusted seller, you ship to GOAT first to verify the shoes before you are paid out.

Fees: 9.5% + $5 + [2.9% + $0.3 Paypal transfer]

Pros

  • Fastest sales app out there, verification and payments can come through as quickly as the day after you drop the shoes off.

  • Like stock x you can see lowest ask and highest bid, past sales data is also easier to see than on stock x.

  • You can sell shoes with flaws or replacement or beat boxes, just declare the issues whilst listening.

  • Every sale gives you 2 points towards your Alias seller score, you start off at 90 and need 150+ for bulk shipping.

  • Can be very quick sales.

  • Pre-printed DPD labels for UK to UK sales, DHL for international.

  • Fairly decent customer support (but very slow to respond).

Cons

  • Fail to confirm a sale, cancel one or fail to ship within the 2 day time frame will lose you 10 points from your seller score.

  • If your seller score drops below 90, Alias' fees increase, drop below 50 and they suspend your account.

  • Once you get your payout they charge you an additional 2.9% to cash out, sneaky sneaky.

  • Customer service is slow af.

Find Recent Sales

Finding recent sales on Alias is very simple. The only drawback to this is that it will only show the past 10 sales for each size, and there is no option to see sales across all sizes, just individual ones. Attached is a video to show you how to do it:
